This valuable service, in partnership with the Cyber Security & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)is a direct response to the ongoing audits by the NYS Comptroller’s Office – Division of Local Government and School Accountability. Your participation is crucial in ensuring the security of our student data.

This data privacy review will help participants assess whether they have correctly secured student data to protect it from unauthorized access. Additionally, it will assist in the development and adoption of a comprehensive Information Technology (IT) contingency plan, ensuring robust protection and preparedness.

This is not an audit but will support in preparation should your school be selected for an audit.
